Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Clinicians for multiple locum contracts across reigional NSW.
You will play a key part in expanding service capacity and delivering timely support to clients experiencing mental health crisis in the community or in the hospital.

Duties:

• Provide community-based acute mental health interventions and crisis response
• Conduct triage, comprehensive assessments, risk assessment, and safety planning
• Deliver short-term case management and assertive outreach
• Provide brief psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate in care planning and discharge with internal and external stakeholders
• Practice in accordance with Trauma-Informed Care and Recovery principles

The succesful canidate will possess:

• Relevant qualification in Mental Health discipline
• AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with the AASW
• Experience in mental health clinical settings
• Strong assessment and case management skills
• Current driver’s licence and flexibility to travel
